Pets
Janie
Janie is a little dog with big attitude. She was rescued at just over a year after being adopted, and returned THREE TIMES for biting people. In her many years with Alexis, Janie has only had one incident with her arch nemesis, Alexis’ best friend. Given that he is a 6’6” man, no one really blames Janie for her extreme prejudice. Janie likes long walks, stealing pizza, staring out of windows, and destroying every stuffed animal she encounters.
Rover
Rover is the only boy dog in the house, and the youngest too. This places firmly at the bottom rung of the ladder of dominance. He is a sweet boy, who shows his deepest affection with toothy kisses on the chin. He was found roaming, wandering… roving at Alexis’ parents house and then one day her father called and said , “Come get this dog!” The rest is history.
Claudia & Rowan
Claudia and Rowan are a bonded pair of ball pythons from the same clutch. They are four year old rescues with some big attitude problems, but hey, they were named after Anne Rice characters, so what can you really expect? These lovely ladies are home bound due to their lack of socialization from an early age.
Croissant
Croissant is the most popular girl in the neighborhood. Birds come from all around to share a meal with her, and roosters have been known to cross from near and far to win her affection. She shares her eggs with pride and enjoys her daily free range time. Her best friend is Lydia, but Lydia doesn’t know that and is rather frightened by the little hen.
Lydia
Lydia is a 110lb baby who won’t walk past the neighbors lawn when Halloween decorations are out. In her defense, he has Regan from The Exorcist and a giant floating banshee blow up, so we can let it slide. Ever the faithful companion, Lydia was named after the first House Carl one receives in a play through of Skyrim(if you know, you know). She likes naps, wearing clothes, and her favorite show is Baywatch.
Lafayette
Lafayette is a three year old ball python. He has been a beloved class pet since just after his first shed and will indulge anyone in allowing them to hold him. He loves to cuddle by crawling up long sleeves and wrapping himself around the neck. Some describe him as “puppy” like. Lafayette was named after the True Blood character, Lafayette Reynolds
